Samsung's Home Theatre Systems

Samsung India has launched it's new range of lifestyle-oriented Home Theatre systems in the Indian market. The new range comprises the HT-X250, HT-X30, HT-TX25, and HT-Q20, all priced between Rs 10,990 and Rs 29,000.
The HT-X250 is the highlight, and features Wireless Ready Rear Channel System, Dual layout, and USB Host playback. It allows users enjoy media files stored on MP3 players, digital cameras, or USB memory, simply by connecting the storage device to the USB port of the home theatre system. The incorporated Progressive Scan technology offers non-interlaced images being sent to the latest Digital Television receivers, making for images with minimal blur or distortion. The HT-X250 supports audio and video formats including MP3, WMA, MPEG, DivX, JPEG, and more. It has Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic, and DTS decoders for theatre-like picture and sound quality. The HT-X250 delivers up to 600 Watts of audio power through 5.1 channels. In addition, it offers HDMI technology that allows for transfer of video data from DVD receiver to TVs at the highest quality. The HT-X250 is available for Rs 29,000. The other system, HT-X30, has 800W PMPO Sound output, HDMI feature, and USB Playback, among others. It is differentiated on account of its advanced, consumer-friendly features including Multi format playback- DivX, DVD-Video, MP3, WMA, JPEG Disc Playback, and USB Host Play; Wireless ready rear channel system; and enhanced sound output and Progressive Scan feature. The HT-X30 is priced at Rs 13,900. Meanwhile, the other systems; the HT-TX25, with its stylish, 4 floor standing speakers, and the entry-level HT-Q20 are priced at Rs 19,990 and Rs 10,990 respectively. Commenting on the home theatre systems, R Zutshi, deputy managing director of Samsung India, said, "The 2007 Home Theatre line-up should further fuel the growth of our Home Theatre segment, which is seeing a huge interest linked with the exponential growth being witnessed by the Flat Panel TV category."
